Unfortunately, I have no thought-provoking post to blog. I have no interesting happenings to report. Neither do I have gorgeous breath-taking pictures to upload. My life back in Singapore has been well, should I say it, ordinary. (or as azzy calls it, I'm just boring)

However, I feel this crazy obligation to blog since some people have been complaining why my blog is dead. So. I'll just post something mundane and boring to appease those who actually bother visiting a super emo-charged blog with no (or at least hardly any)pictures.

Well, for one, now that I can drive, it has been a whole lot more convenient getting from place to place. Instead of spending an hour getting to church, it's just ten minutes. I can even get down to NUS in 20min instead of the usual 2hours. (of course, law school HAS moved) Having said that, my driving still sucks. I still can't park to save my life. I can do pretty much everything else. EXCEPT park. I seriously need some parking guru to help me. I mean, my judgment sucks. I have no idea how to maneuver the car the way I want it to. :(

My family has this huge conspiracy. We have somehow planned all our holidays so that we avoid having the whole family together. Let me explain. I returned 21 November. My baby sister left for the US (alone for a holiday!) on the 19. Following that, my parents are leaving for China on the 1st, narrowly missing her arrival on the 5th December. Immediately after she makes her grand entrance on the 5th, my brothers are going to Hongkong (alone on holiday too!) on the 5th. They shall return on the 10th December, leaving again to Chiangrai on the 13th, which may I add, is the exact date my parents are returning! Simply put, my family has not been together since 1 July, the day I left for NZ and will not be together till the 20th December, the day my brothers return from Thailand. interesting. I think we are a family who loves to travel.

Having said that, I just realised that I would have to chauffeur my family (i.e. grandparents and sister) to church on the 10th December. Which is fine, they have sat in the car while I've driven before. However, none of them has experienced my horrendous parking. I'm pretty sure I'll take like 20minutes to park, which gives them ample opportunity to diss my driving skills. and my family's acerbic tongues have a PH value of approximately.. 1. This is bad.

I'm working at Drew from the 4th. Although I was pretty excited about it in April, I have to admit I'm kinda dreading it now. But I shall be brave. It's just 2 weeks. 2 weeks of crazy peak hour public transport. 2 weeks of early mornings. 2 weeks of pretending to be hardworking. For a grand total of $200? What am I doing to myself.. Noting my schedule for next week, I expect to be thoroughly exhausted, rushing here and there after work. Without the car because I refuse to pay parking and CBD charges. Any kind soul driving to work that period? heh.

other than that, life is really as per normal. i mean, Singapore's great. its so cheap. I was at this provision shop the other day. The small pack of twisties was like 30c. omg.. 30c. that's ridiculously cheap. 30c!! is that even money? ok i know i sound crazy. but seriously, live overseas for a few months. You'll know that people just dont sell things under at least 99c.

right. that's about it. out.
